Ode to pizza

As promised, here is my paper/love letter I wrote recently for my English class. Please don't judge me for my grammatical errors and punctuation.

My Relationship with Pizza
Dear Pizza,
I love you, unfortunately. There, I said it. I don’t know why you do this to us. Yes, I said “us.” I knew of my husband’s love for you before I married him, and I was okay with that. I never thought I would be a victim.
I remember when I first fell in love with you, and it wasn’t at first site. My husband and I were newly married when he brought you home. We didn’t even have a table in our house to place you on. We just sat on the floor; the three of us. Together. I made eye contact with your greasy pepperoni atop your mozzarella cheese. I winced. You didn’t look my type, but you were dinner that night.
As I picked up one of your slices, a tear of grease slid down it and landed on the box as if to say, “Goodbye, Box, my old friend.” I laid you down on my simple, white paper plate only to pick you up again. You seemed a little down, so I used both my hands to lift you up--to my mouth. I took a big bite, ensuring that both cheese and pepperoni would make it in.
Pizza, this is when I fell in love with you. Your pepperoni had the right amount of spice; it was the life of the party in my mouth. Mixed in was the grease that felt like a hot summer day, and the cheese fit in perfectly. Let’s not forget your crust! It was tortilla chips but with Wonder Bread, the right softness with a little crunch.
You’ve been there for me ever since then. Remember my pregnancy? Yes, we became very well acquainted during those long months of growing a human. I wouldn’t be surprised if you steal the little one’s heart, like you did her parents. After she was born, you were our first meal after we arrived home. Our neighbor across the street knocked on the door, and there you were in her hand. I could smell your aroma; calling to me.
We even had you for dinner tonight! I cannot resist you, Pizza. You have gone to my thighs. You are the reason I cannot lose the weight I gained from the pregnancy, but a small part of me says, “It’s worth it.” You were there when life changing moments were happening to my family, like our little one taking her first steps, and I am grateful. I know one day I might need to say goodbye to you for my health, but today is not that day. You’re family.

Love you till I can’t anymore,
            Sabrina

Hello 2015!

I love love love the holiday time and I am so sad that it is already over.
Like, why is time going so fast?
^^This was on Christmas.
And pretty much the only not blurring picture (she won't stop moving!)
I. Love. Her. So. Much.
She is such a party, oh my gosh.
I eat her cheeks on a daily basis and
I cannot believe she is going to be 1 years old in March!
How is this happening?! I just had her yesterday!!

^^This is her on New Years eve/New Years
(yes, I let her stay up for her first New Years.)
She was having a ball.
She sings.
She talks.
And she is walking now!
And by walking, I mean taking a few (2-5) baby steps at a time
then crawling the rest of the way.
She is taking more and more steps by the day though.
Chris told me, "She can't be a grown-up."
Sorry Serena, you have to stay a baby forever.
Dad said.

She is the absolute. best. Target buddy in the world.
She loves Target as much as I do.
It's like a giant theme park to her (and me!!)
^^^check out her cutie little beanie. bought it online at H&M for like $5 (find it here)
Yes, it has shiny polka dots. Two things that I love (shiny and polka dots!)

My cousin Brittany came into town from SLC!
We got some much needed
momma time together which was so much fun.
Her little handsome boy, Ethan, is like...
4 or 5 months younger than Rini.
I have to be honest,
seeing him and holding him made me a little baby hungry.
Guess it's time for me to read my delivery story again (here)
to remind me of how scary it is (;
Rini looked like a toddler next to him. He is so baby!
^^^We went on a walk and they both fell asleep,
but of course when we want a picture Ethan wakes up.
His eyes are SO cute and big and ROUND.

School has started up again, which is exciting!--said no one ever.
Haha, just kidding! It really is fun,
I have the best classmates in the world.
AND I will share with you guys VERY soon
a little essay I wrote on my love for pizza.
no joke.
i <3 pizzzaaaaaaaa.

Till then,
I love you all and thanks for reading!
